Waist Training 101

At Bodied by Patrice we encourage each consumer to be well informed and educated to
determine if a waist training regimen is right for them and their personal goals. Before beginning any type of waist training regime,it is suggested that you consult with a doctor to be sure waist training is right for you. Coupled with a healthy diet and regular exercise, waist training can help individuals lose inches and shed pounds.

What is Waist Training?

When done sensibly, waist training is a safe and effective way to create an hourglass figure by
sculpting your waist and is a practice that has been around since the early 16th century.

Do Waist Trainers work?

At Bodied by Patrice, we believe and emphasize waist training “IT’S A LIFESTYLE. Not a fad”.
And contrary to popular belief, the garments aren’t magic! You have to regularly wear the
garments, exercise, eat a healthy diet, and drink plenty of water while waist training.

Sizing

Poorly fitted waist trainers or sculpting garments can cause frustration and even scars.
Successful waist training requires accurate measurement. See our website for fitting instructions

and additional information.

Waist Training Gone Wrong!

Waist trainers should not bruise, cut-off circulation, pinch, poke, irritate, cause acid re-flux,

numbness, faint feeling, or pain.

If any of these symptoms occur, you should stop wearing, consider a larger size or different

quality.

“Would you put your size 9 foot in a size 6 shoe?"
